Keeping real grass alive in Central Florida is a job in itself: St. Augustine that browns out in dry spells, chinch bugs, fungus in the wet season, bare patches under the oaks, and mowing every week all summer. Artificial turf takes all of that away. It stays green all year and needs no watering, mowing or fertilizer.

How good a turf lawn looks, and for how long, comes down to the installation. We remove the existing grass and roots, lay and compact a crushed-stone base graded so water drains through and away, and add a weed barrier. Then we roll out the turf, seam it so the joins disappear, and secure every edge. Infill brushed into the fibers keeps the blades standing up and the surface stable.

Turf is especially good with dogs. Urine drains straight through the perforated backing into the base, there is no mud to track inside, and no bare patches where the dog runs. For pet areas we choose a turf and infill made for the job, including deodorizing infill that helps keep it fresh in the heat.

We also use turf where grass simply will not grow: shady side yards, strips between pavers, the edges of pool decks, and small spaces that are not worth mowing. Paired with a paver patio or walkway, it gives you a finished yard that needs very little looking after.
